Information about the Lynx mote is available here.  The Digi Xbee zigbee motes are getting really popular, and there's a decent amount of gear (from sparkfun.com and others) that includes a footprint for the Xbee modules.  I thought it would be useful to create an EPIC based open source alternative to the Xbee, and Lynx is what resulted after a weekend playing around in Eagle (a lynx is a bee eating spider :)  Prabal has also posted a pic on the EPIC website.  Design files for Eagle coming soon... (I haven't had time to tidy them up yet)
